Medical Massage in Bozeman, MT

Medical massage is designed to focus on pain and other musculoskeletal dysfunctions. Involves therapeutic assessment, manipulation and movement of soft tissue to resolve pain and dysfunction, while restoring function and structural balance throughout the body.  This process starts with a detailed assessment.  I will ask a few questions to get an idea of the symptoms you are experiencing, and then examine the area carefully.  What I’m looking for is tenderness, swelling and other signs of discomfort.  I use my hands to speak directly to your body, and find the likely culprits to your discomfort.

In this process I’ll also look for signs of a more serious problem such as tendon strains, tears and other medical problems.  To be able to do medical massage a therapist must take classes on being able to identify medical problems that may also show signs similar to ailments commonly treated by massage.  This training can be the difference between aiding and exacerbating problems.
